Account Password Reset
Password Requirements
The default platform policy requires a strong password that satisfies all of the following conditions:
- At least 10 characters long.
- Contains at least one number.
- Contains at least one lowercase letter.
- Contains at least one uppercase letter.
- Contains at least one special character.
- Must not reuse a previous password.
Change Password
If you can still sign in to the account, update the password directly from the dashboard.
1Open Change Password
Click the account menu in the upper-right corner of the dashboard and select Change Password.
2Enter the current and new passwords
Provide the current password, enter the new password, confirm it, and click Change Password.
After the change succeeds, the platform displays a confirmation and also sends an email notification.
Reset a Forgotten or Expired Password
If the password has been forgotten or has already expired, use the password-reset workflow from the login page.
1Open Reset Password
Go to the login page of the appropriate platform installation and choose Reset Password from the menu in the lower-left corner.
2Enter the account email
Provide the email address associated with the account and click Reset.
3Open the reset email
Check the inbox for the password-reset confirmation email and click Reset Password.
4Set the new password
Enter the new password and its confirmation in the reset form, then continue.
After the operation succeeds, the platform returns you to the login page, where the new credentials can be used.
A separate confirmation email is also sent after the password has been changed.
Expired Reset Link
If the password-reset link has already expired, the platform displays an expiration message and the reset process must be started again from the login page.
Security Recommendations
- Use a unique password that is not shared with other services.
- Do not reuse older platform passwords.
- Verify that password-reset emails are expected before following the reset link.
- If a password-change notification arrives unexpectedly, contact the hosting provider immediately.
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication for an additional protection layer.
