Account Password Reset

Account Password Reset

The platform periodically requires account passwords to be renewed and also provides separate workflows for changing a password while signed in or resetting it after access has been lost. By default, passwords expire after 180 days, with advance notifications before expiration.

Password Requirements

The default platform policy requires a strong password that satisfies all of the following conditions:

  • At least 10 characters long.
  • Contains at least one number.
  • Contains at least one lowercase letter.
  • Contains at least one uppercase letter.
  • Contains at least one special character.
  • Must not reuse a previous password.

The Change Password dialog displays the active password requirements.
Exact password rules are controlled by the selected hosting provider and can differ from the default policy shown above.

If you can still sign in to the account, update the password directly from the dashboard.

Set and confirm the new password in the password-reset form.

After the operation succeeds, the platform returns you to the login page, where the new credentials can be used.

A separate confirmation email is also sent after the password has been changed.

If the password-reset link has already expired, the platform displays an expiration message and the reset process must be started again from the login page.

Security Recommendations

  • Use a unique password that is not shared with other services.
  • Do not reuse older platform passwords.
  • Verify that password-reset emails are expected before following the reset link.
  • If a password-change notification arrives unexpectedly, contact the hosting provider immediately.
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication for an additional protection layer.
Password reset summary: signed-in users can change the password from the account menu, while users who have lost access can request a reset link by email, set a new password through the time-limited link, and then sign in with the updated credentials.
