Open Collaboration Settings
1Select the environment
Choose the required environment and open Settings > Collaboration. The page lists all users who currently have access.

Collaborator view: A collaborator can see only their own assigned role for the current environment. The owner can manage sharing and role policies, but cannot edit the owner’s own roles.

Understand the Access Table
- Name — email addresses of users with environment access. Hover to see edit or remove actions.
- Roles — roles assigned to each collaborator. Hover to see the combined policy list.
- Access Level — the highest effective access level for the environment.
- Status — active, pending acceptance, left, or suspended. The icon colour also indicates status.

Add Direct Access
2Open the access dialog
Click Add. Select an existing collaboration member or choose Invite Member and provide an email address.
3Assign roles
Select at least one role. Use Create New Role when a custom permission set is required.

Invitation flow: A newly invited user receives an email and can accept or reject the collaboration request.
Edit or Remove Access
4Manage an existing record
Select a collaborator. Use Edit to change directly assigned roles or Remove to revoke direct access.

Removing direct access does not always remove every access path. The environment may still be available through another collaboration rule, such as a shared environment group.
Open Account Collaboration
The environment owner can use the Account Collaboration button to open User Settings > Collaboration > Shared by Me for broader collaboration management.
