CentOS VPS Overview
CentOS has traditionally been used for enterprise-oriented Linux workloads because of its focus on stability, performance, security, and compatibility with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux ecosystem.
Deploy a CentOS VPS
1Open the environment topology wizard
Sign in to the platform dashboard and start creating or editing an environment.
2Open the Elastic VPS section
In the topology wizard, locate the VPS options and select the required CentOS-based Elastic VPS stack.
3Configure resources
Set the VPS resource limits and other environment parameters according to the workload requirements, then create the environment.
Public IP
By default, a CentOS VPS node is created with an automatically attached public IP address.
The public IP allows direct remote access to the virtual server and can also be used by applications or services that must be reachable from outside the platform.
Manage and Access the VPS
The platform dashboard includes built-in tools for basic CentOS VPS management. These tools allow common server settings to be adjusted without connecting to the operating system directly.
