Deploy a CentOS VPS

1Open the environment topology wizard

Sign in to the platform dashboard and start creating or editing an environment.

In the topology wizard, locate the VPS options and select the required CentOS-based Elastic VPS stack.

3Configure resources

Set the VPS resource limits and other environment parameters according to the workload requirements, then create the environment.

Public IP

By default, a CentOS VPS node is created with an automatically attached public IP address.

Default networking: The source specifies one automatically attached public IP address per VPS instance.

The public IP allows direct remote access to the virtual server and can also be used by applications or services that must be reachable from outside the platform.

Manage and Access the VPS

The platform dashboard includes built-in tools for basic CentOS VPS management. These tools allow common server settings to be adjusted without connecting to the operating system directly.

SSH Gate Connect to the CentOS VPS through the platform SSH gateway for command-line administration.
External SSH Client Use third-party SSH software to connect directly through the VPS public IP address.
Advanced Configuration More complex operating-system and application settings are normally managed through SSH.
For advanced Linux administration, use SSH rather than relying only on the dashboard configuration tools.
