Dashboard Guide

Dashboard Guide

The dashboard is the main control center for creating, monitoring and managing application environments. It provides access to environment settings, deployments, marketplace packages, account activity, collaboration and support tools.

Interactive tutorial

New users can open the built-in tutorial from the Help menu in the upper-right corner of the dashboard.

Creating and Managing Environments

1

Create a new environment

Click New Environment in the upper-left area of the dashboard.

2

Configure the topology

Use the Topology Wizard to select the required application servers, databases, load balancers, resources, regions and scaling settings. Enter the environment name and click Create.

Created environments appear in the central dashboard panel.

NameDisplays the environment name or alias, its domain and the expandable list of included nodes.
StatusShows whether the environment is running, sleeping, stopped or currently undergoing an operation such as cloning, migration or redeployment.
TagsDisplays environment groups, region, container versions and deployed project information.
UsageShows resource consumption such as cloudlets and disk space and provides access to billing history.

Environment Action Icons

Hover over a running environment to display its management actions.

Set Alias

Assign an alternative display name without changing the environment domain.

Open in Browser

Open the deployed application in a new browser tab.

Settings

Open domain, SSL, access, monitoring and administration settings.

Change Topology

Add, remove or resize application layers and resources.

Clone

Create a separate copy of the selected environment.

Start or Stop

Change the operational state of the environment.

Delete

Remove the environment after confirmation.

Environment Groups

Add or edit the groups used to organize environments.

Region

Identify and filter environments by hosting region where multiple regions are available.

Stopped environments

When an environment is stopped, only a limited set of actions and settings remains available, such as start, clone, delete and selected administrative options.

Environment Settings

The Settings panel provides access to the following environment-level configuration areas.

Custom DomainsBind a custom domain or swap domains between environments.
Custom SSLUpload private key, domain certificate and intermediate certificate files.
SSH AccessManage public keys and view SSH, Web SSH, SFTP and direct-access details.
EndpointsMap container TCP or UDP ports for direct external connections.
FirewallCreate inbound and outbound rules to allow or block connections.
Load AlertsCreate resource-consumption triggers and view alert history.
Auto Horizontal ScalingAdd or remove containers automatically based on resource usage.
CollaborationGrant other accounts access to the environment and define permissions.
Change OwnerTransfer the environment to another account on the same platform.
MigrationMove the environment to another available region or hardware group.
ExportPackage the environment configuration and supported data for download and later import.
InfoView domain, owner, creator, region and creation date.

Node and Instance Actions

Expand an environment to view its application servers, databases, load balancers, storage nodes, containers and deployed contexts. Hover over a layer or node to display the available actions.

Restart

Restart an individual node or all nodes within a layer.

Configuration

Open the configuration file manager, mount data or manage files.

Logs

View application and system log files for troubleshooting.

Statistics

Monitor CPU, RAM, network, disk and IOPS consumption.

Web SSH

Connect to a supported container directly in the browser.

Redeploy

Replace a container with another supported version or tag.

Add-Ons

Install optional modules and service integrations.

Additional Settings

Manage variables, links, volumes, commands, scaling and access details.

Admin Access

Open a database or application administration panel when available.

Import and Marketplace

Import

The Import tool can process supported manifest or environment files to create a new environment or modify an existing one.

Local FileUpload a supported file stored on the local computer.
URLProvide a direct link to a manifest file.
JPS EditorInsert, review or edit JSON/YAML package code before deployment.
Environment import dialog
Import an environment package from a file, URL or built-in editor.

Marketplace

The Marketplace provides ready-to-install applications and add-ons. Search by package name or category, select the required solution and follow the installation wizard.

Environment Groups help organize multiple projects and can include subgroups such as development, testing and production. Network isolation can also be applied where supported.

Dashboard search
Search across the dashboard by name, project, container or IP address.

Use the search box in the upper-right corner, or the available keyboard shortcut, to locate environments, projects, containers, IP addresses or Marketplace packages. Search filters can limit results by source and category.

Environment groups
Organize application environments into groups and subgroups.

Deployment Manager and Tasks Panel

Deployment Manager

The Deployment Manager stores application packages and repository connections for repeatable deployment.

ArchiveUpload an application package from a local file or external URL.
Git / SVNSave repository details and credentials for version-control-based deployment.

Tasks Panel

The Tasks panel shows active and completed operations performed by the platform.

StatusIndicates whether an operation is running, completed successfully or failed.
TimeShows when the task started.
EnvironmentIdentifies the affected environment.
TaskDisplays the operation or error description.
DurationShows the execution time after completion.
Dashboard tasks panel
Monitor running, completed and failed platform operations.

Troubleshooting

Expand a failed task to inspect its parameters and server response. Recent errors may also include an option to send a report to the support team.

User Settings

Open the user settings from the upper-right corner of the dashboard.

AccountChange the password and configure two-factor authentication.
Access TokensCreate and manage personal access tokens.
SSH KeysManage public and private SSH keys and view SSH/SFTP connection details.
CollaborationReview environments shared by the user and environments shared with the user.

Account, Billing and Help

The top dashboard area displays either an account upgrade section for trial users or balance and billing controls for paid accounts.

Upgrade Account

Convert a trial account to a billing account and review trial limitations.

Balance

View funds, refill the balance, configure auto-refill and manage payment methods.

Pricing and Quotas

Review regions, pricing, limits and resource-consumption history.

Invoices

Open the connected billing system to review invoices, orders and payments.

Help

Access support, documentation, API, CLI and community resources.

Account Menu

Access account-related options and sign-out controls.

Expected Result

After becoming familiar with the dashboard, users can create and configure environments, manage nodes, deploy applications, monitor operations, organize projects, control access and review account activity from a single interface.

Important Notes

  • Available dashboard options can differ depending on account type, hosting provider, region and selected application stack.
  • Some actions are hidden when an environment is stopped or when a layer does not support the selected function.
  • Deleting an environment is destructive and should be performed only after confirming that required data is backed up.
  • Review failed operations in the Tasks panel before repeating a deployment or topology change.
  • Use environment groups and search filters to simplify management of large numbers of environments.
