Deploy a Debian VPS
1Open the topology wizard
Sign in to the platform dashboard and click New Environment.
2Select Debian
Expand the VPS section and choose the Debian template and version required for the workload.
Select the Debian Elastic VPS template and configure the environment in the topology wizard.
Configure Resources and Scaling
Before creating the environment, adjust the VPS settings according to expected workload demand.
Vertical Scaling
Configure the CPU and RAM limits available to each Debian VPS instance.
Horizontal Scaling
Define the number of VPS nodes when the application architecture requires multiple instances.
Disk Limit
Set the storage capacity required for the operating system, applications, and data.
Other Environment Settings
Review the remaining topology and environment options before deployment.
When all settings are ready, click Create to provision the Debian VPS environment.
Public IP Requirement
Default networking: Elastic VPS instances require public IP addresses by default, with one public IP per VPS node.
The public address allows direct connectivity to the Debian server and to applications or services that need to be reachable from outside the platform.
After Deployment
After the environment is created, the Debian VPS is available as a fully isolated virtual server. You can then install and configure the software packages and services required by the application.
Debian’s lightweight base can be extended through its package manager, allowing the VPS to be tailored to the exact server workload.
