Within the platform, AlmaLinux is delivered as an Elastic VPS and therefore benefits from the same server-isolation, root-access, security, and cost-efficiency characteristics as other Elastic VPS stacks.

Deploy an AlmaLinux VPS
1Open a new environment
Sign in to the platform dashboard and click New Environment to open the topology wizard.
2Select AlmaLinux
Expand the VPS section and choose the AlmaLinux template and version required for your workload.
Select the AlmaLinux Elastic VPS template and configure its resources in the environment topology wizard.
Configure Node Resources
Before creating the environment, adjust the VPS resources and other topology settings according to the application requirements.
CPU and RAM
Configure the cloudlet limits that define how much processing and memory capacity the VPS can use.
Horizontal Scaling
Set the required number of AlmaLinux VPS nodes when multiple instances are needed.
Disk Limit
Allocate enough storage for the operating system, applications, packages, and data.
Environment Options
Review the remaining environment and topology settings before deployment.
When the configuration is ready, click Create to deploy the AlmaLinux VPS.
Public IP Requirement
Default networking: Elastic VPS instances require a public IP by default, with one public IP address per VPS node.
The public IP enables direct access to the AlmaLinux server and allows hosted services to receive traffic from outside the platform.
After Deployment
After the platform finishes provisioning the environment, the fully isolated AlmaLinux virtual server is ready for use. You can then install the software packages, services, and custom applications required by the workload.
For administration after deployment, use the standard Elastic VPS management options, including platform configuration tools and SSH access.
