Storing Data in External Server

External server mounting is used to connect a third-party NAS storage system that makes its data available through NFS. The platform simplifies this integration because no additional configuration is normally required on either the platform side or the storage side.

When an existing storage server is already configured and contains properly structured content, you do not need to copy or move that data elsewhere. Instead, mount the storage and share the same data between application layers, environments, or even multiple platform installations.

When you are still planning to create a high-performance and reliable storage system, consider using a Shared Storage Container. It includes the required software in advance, allowing the storage to be used immediately after creation without additional configuration.

Note: Before mounting an external NFS server, confirm that the storage is reachable from the platform and that the required folders and access permissions are already configured.
