Billing via OBAS

This guide explains how to convert a Trial account to Billing and how to refill the balance when the hosting provider uses OBAS (Odin Business Automation Standard).

Trial-to-Billing Conversion

1Start the upgrade

In the dashboard, open the account drop-down and click Upgrade trial account.

2Enter billing details

Fill in the required account information, accept the Terms of Service, and continue.

OBAS trial to paid conversion — Complete the Trial to Paid Conversion form.

3Select payment method and refill amount

Choose Credit / Debit Card or PayPal, set the first refill amount, and confirm the payment.

OBAS first refill — Select the payment method and initial refill amount.

Some providers can offer payment methods beyond the defaults shown in OBAS. In such cases, contact the hosting provider for the available alternatives.

Card Payment

Enter the card and billing information, click Proceed, and complete the purchase-authentication step when prompted.

PayPal Payment

Important: the source states that OBAS auto-refill is not available when PayPal is used as the payment method.

With a PayPal Account

Click Log In, then authenticate with the email address and password of your PayPal account.

Choose PayPal login to continue with an existing account.

Without a PayPal Account

Use the Buy as a guest option, enter the requested billing information, then provide the debit or credit card details.

After conversion and refill, the account status is communicated through dashboard messages and email notifications.

Refill Through Platform Dashboard

Recharge cards / One-Time Fee service plans can be purchased either through the platform dashboard or the OBAS online store.

1Open Refill Balance

Go to Balance → Refill balance, choose the top-up amount, and click Submit Payment.

Refill by Card

Enter the card details and complete authentication. If the same card was used successfully before, OBAS can reuse the saved payment method so only confirmation is required.

Refill with card — Use an existing or new card payment method.

Refill by PayPal

Select PayPal, sign in to the PayPal account, and complete the transaction.

Refill with PayPal — Select PayPal as the refill method.

Configure Auto-Refill

Open Balance → Configure auto-refill to define an automatic top-up rule.

WeeklyRefill every Monday.

MonthlyRefill on the 1st day of each month.

Low BalanceRefill when the balance falls below a user-defined amount.

Payment MethodSelect the eligible payment method used for automated funding.

OBAS auto refill — Set the refill amount, schedule or threshold, and payment method.

To stop automatic replenishment, open the same screen and use the disable link.

Disable OBAS auto refill — Disable auto-refill from the active configuration screen.

The Payment methods menu lets you select the default method used for future refills. View invoices opens the OBAS control panel with financial documents such as invoices, orders, payments, and adjustments. Billing history shows platform resource consumption against the account balance.

Refill Through OBAS Store

Prerequisite: the platform account must already be converted to Billing.

The OBAS Online Store lists PaaS One-Time Fee service plans that can be purchased as recharge items.

1Choose a service plan

Select the required One-Time Fee item and proceed through the order wizard.

2Sign in as an existing customer

Existing OBAS customers enter their email address and password. New customers must complete the Trial-to-Billing conversion first.

3Review and place the order

Check the order details and click Place Order.

4Select a payment method

Choose the payment method offered by the OBAS store.

5Complete card payment

Enter the required card details and click Proceed to complete the purchase.

OBAS billing summary: upgrade the Trial account → choose card or PayPal → complete the initial refill → use Balance for future top-ups → optionally configure weekly, monthly, or low-balance auto-refill with a supported card method → or purchase One-Time Fee recharge plans through the OBAS Online Store.
