Monitoring Consumed Resources

Monitoring consumed resources helps you control spending and plan environment capacity. The platform provides four main views for this purpose: estimated environment cost, current resource usage, per-node consumption statistics, and detailed billing history.

Current Usage See live cloudlet and disk consumption directly in the dashboard.
Statistics Review Disk, RAM, CPU, and network bandwidth for individual containers.

Estimated Environment Cost

While creating or modifying an environment, the topology wizard lets you define the node structure, the number of instances, Reserved Cloudlets, Scaling Limits, Disk Limits, Public IPs, and other options. The right side of the wizard displays an estimated environment cost.

The estimate is shown as a minimum-to-maximum range and can be viewed per hour, day, or month.

The detailed estimate contains three main columns:

  • Containers — all nodes included in the environment.
  • From — the reserved resource level and the corresponding minimum environment price.
  • To — the configured resource limit and the corresponding maximum environment price.

Containers are grouped by topology layer, and the summary at the bottom shows the total estimated cost together with any discount and saved amount.

Current Resource Usage

The dashboard environment list includes a Usage column. It shows resource consumption for the entire environment, while expanding the environment reveals usage for each individual node.

1Check cloudlet usage

The first value shows the number of cloudlets currently being used, while the second value shows the configured cloudlet Scaling Limit.

The cloudlet indicator changes from green to yellow and then red as usage approaches or reaches the configured Scaling Limit.

2Check disk usage

The second metric in the Usage column shows the percentage of disk space currently consumed relative to the assigned disk limit.

Statistics of Consumption

For detailed node-level monitoring, click the Statistics button for the required container. The statistics view provides graphs for:

  • Disk usage
  • RAM / Memory
  • CPU
  • Network bandwidth

Node statistics provide detailed graphs for CPU, RAM, network, and disk activity.

These graphs can help you adjust automatic vertical and horizontal scaling limits. For example, Reserved Cloudlets can be tuned according to the actual load shown in the statistics.

Optimization tip: use actual workload statistics instead of guessing resource limits. This helps balance application performance and infrastructure cost.

Billing History

Billing History provides a detailed view of the resources that generated account charges and is useful for budget analysis. The report can also be downloaded for offline review.

1Open Billing History

Use the Billing History icon next to a particular environment, or open Balance → Billing History from the top dashboard menu.

2Configure the report

Use the left-side filters to define how the billing data should be displayed.

  • Start / End — define the reporting date range.
  • Interval — choose the period used to group billing data.
  • UTC time — switch report timestamps from local time to UTC.
  • Group by node — group instances that belong to the same layer instead of displaying every node separately.

Click Refresh to apply the selected filters.

3Review charge details

Billing data is grouped by environment and can be expanded to show nodes and resource usage. Nodes are sorted alphabetically, while additional paid options such as Public IP or SSL are displayed separately.

For each environment node, the report can show:

  • Reserved Cloudlets
  • Dynamic Cloudlets
  • Paid Storage
  • Paid Traffic
  • Cost
Some hosting providers include a free allowance for resources such as cloudlets, disk space, IP addresses, or SSL certificates. In that case, charges apply only after the included amount is exceeded.

The total cost for the selected reporting period is calculated at the bottom of the Billing History list.

Monitoring summary: estimate cost before deployment in the topology wizard, watch live cloudlet and disk usage in the dashboard, use Statistics for detailed per-node graphs, and use Billing History to analyze exactly which resources generated charges.
