Cluster Installation
Kubernetes Cluster: Package Installation
The Kubernetes Cluster package can be installed automatically from the platform Marketplace. During installation, you can choose the Kubernetes version, dashboard, topology, ingress controller, deployment mode, storage, optional modules, remote API access, environment name, display name, and region.
Billing requirement: The Kubernetes Cluster solution is available to billing customers.

Open Kubernetes Cluster in Marketplace
1Open Marketplace
Sign in to the platform dashboard and open Marketplace.
2Locate Kubernetes Cluster
Open the Clusters category or use Marketplace search to find Kubernetes Cluster.

Configure Installation Options
VersionChoose the required Kubernetes version.
K8s DashboardSelect Dashboard v2 or Skooner.
Some Skooner metrics may not work with the HAProxy ingress controller.
Choose Cluster Topology
Development1 control-plane node and 1 or more scalable worker nodes.
Production3 control-plane nodes, 2 or more API balancers, and 2 or more scalable worker nodes.
Production warning: Development topology is not recommended for production because a single control-plane node cannot provide reliable high-load operation or control-plane redundancy.
Choose an Ingress Controller
- NGINX — recommended in the source documentation for maximum flexibility.
- Traefik — available as an alternative.
- HAProxy — available where supported by the selected package version.
Select Deployment and Storage
Clean ClusterDeploy a clean cluster with a pre-deployed HelloWorld example.
Custom DeploymentProvide shell commands to deploy a custom Helm chart or stack from a Helm repository.
Enable NFS Storage to attach dedicated NFS storage with dynamic volume provisioning. Disable it only if you plan to register and manage your own storage class.
Managing a custom storage class requires in-depth Kubernetes storage knowledge.
Enable Optional Modules
Prometheus & GrafanaRecommended monitoring tools. They require about 5 GB of additional persistent-volume disk space and about 500 MB of RAM.
Jaeger Tracing ToolsInstall distributed tracing for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Remote API AccessEnable if you plan to use
kubectl or another remote Kubernetes client.Set Environment Details
- Environment — provide the technical environment name.
- Display Name — specify a readable alias.
- Region — choose a region if multiple regions are available.

Install the Cluster
1Review the configuration
Confirm that the selected version, topology, ingress, deployment mode, storage, modules, and environment details match the intended workload.
2Start installation
Click Install and wait a few minutes while the platform automatically deploys and configures the Kubernetes cluster.
Result: The platform automates the cluster infrastructure according to the selected package options, reducing the need to assemble the control plane, workers, ingress, storage, and optional monitoring components manually.
