LiteSpeed Web Server
LiteSpeed Web Server
LiteSpeed Web Server is a commercial, high-performance PHP web server designed for low memory consumption, scalability, Apache compatibility, caching, security, and optimized hosting of popular applications.
LiteSpeed Web Server Overview
The platform LiteSpeed stack is HTTP/3-ready with support enabled by default. A Public IP is required to bypass the Shared Load Balancer and connect directly to the server over HTTP/3.
mod_rewrite, .htaccess, and mod_security.Commercial license
LiteSpeed cannot be distributed freely. The platform applies and manages the required license, and an additional license fee is charged for using this application server.

Open the default page
After creation, click Open in Browser beside the LiteSpeed server to view the default phpinfo data.

Open the Admin Panel
Open the Additionally menu for the layer and select Admin Panel. The access credentials are sent by email after node creation.

Platform-specific management rules
Use the platform-native container redeploy feature instead of Actions → Version Manager. Also ignore license-expiration notices in the LiteSpeed Server Log Viewer because license leasing is managed automatically by the platform.

Application deployment follows the standard platform deployment workflow used for other application servers.
License Pricing
The platform integrates LiteSpeed license cost into its pay-as-you-go model. The license is billed hourly only for active containers, based on 730 hours per month.
- A new license is issued for each newly created LiteSpeed container, including containers added by horizontal scaling.
- The license is updated when the resource limits of a container change.
- The license is decommissioned when the environment is stopped or scaled in.
Expected Result
A LiteSpeed PHP environment is created with the selected resources and optional Public IP. The server can be opened in a browser, managed through the Admin Panel, customized through dedicated environment variables, and used with the standard application deployment workflow.
Important Notes
- A Public IP is required for direct HTTP/3 access.
- LiteSpeed is commercial software and incurs an additional license fee.
- Use the platform-native redeploy feature for version changes.
- Restart the server after changing
LSWS_MAX_CHILDREN. - Review WAF and WordPress protection settings before production use.
