Statistics Monitoring
View Node Statistics
Statistics are available for application servers, load balancers, web servers, and database nodes.
1Locate the required node
Open the environment in the dashboard and find the instance or group of same-type nodes that you want to monitor.
2Click Statistics
Click the Statistics icon beside the selected node or node layer.
Monitored Resources
- RAM and CPU limits depend on the number of Cloudlets assigned to the container.
- Disk capacity can be configured within the permitted range.
- Network and IOPS limits are defined by the hosting provider.
- The network restriction applies to external traffic rate in Mbps rather than total accumulated traffic.
Analyse Statistics
Use the top toolbar to change the displayed Interval and Duration. Individual resource sections can also be enabled or disabled to focus on specific information.
Hover over graph points to view values for a particular time frame. The collected information can be used to analyse resource consumption, estimate future cost, and decide whether the environment should be scaled or optimised.
Statistics Collection and Aggregation
The platform collects statistics every minute and retains the detailed one-minute data for one hour. This supports accurate pay-per-use charging.
After one hour, the values are aggregated into hourly blocks according to the resource type:
| Aggregation Method | Resources |
|---|---|
| Sum of all values | CPU, Network, Disk IOPS, and Disk I/O |
| Maximum value | RAM and Disk |
I/O Usage Monitoring
Input/Output Operations per Second is a common storage-performance measurement. It helps evaluate how efficiently a container handles simultaneous read and write operations without performance degradation.
IOPS data is shown in the Disk statistics section using the graph’s right-side axis. Other resource sections can be disabled to focus on disk and I/O activity.
The IOPS threshold is defined by the hosting provider and is shown as a red dotted line. Reaching this limit can negatively affect container performance.
- Add more servers when the workload should be distributed.
- Optimise the application or its storage usage.
- Review repeated peaks to identify inefficient operations.
Disk and IOPS Details
Hover over a point in the Disk/IOPS graph to display:
- Date and time when the statistics were collected.
- Disk — storage currently used by the container.
- Disk space limit — maximum permitted stored-data amount.
- IOPS — number of I/O operations during the selected interval.
- IOPS limit — maximum permitted I/O operations during that interval.
IOPS Limit and Interval
The displayed IOPS limit changes with the selected interval. For example, a one-minute limit of 6,000 operations becomes 360,000 operations when the interval is changed to one hour:
This provides an accurate view of current disk load and allows storage activity to be monitored over different time ranges.
