Container Image Requirements
Container Image Requirements
Custom container images must use a supported Linux distribution and the supported image architecture so that they can be deployed and managed correctly by the platform.
Supported OS Distributions
The following Linux distributions can be used as the base for containers deployed and managed by the platform. The supported list may change over time.
| Distribution | Version | VZ Template |
|---|---|---|
| AlmaLinux | AlmaLinux 9 | almalinux-9-x86_64* |
| Alpine | Alpine 3 | alpine-3.x-x86_64 |
| CentOS | CentOS 7 | centos-7-x86_64 |
| CentOS | CentOS 8 | almalinux-8-x86_64* |
| Debian | Debian 11 | debian-11.0-x86_64 |
| Debian | Debian 12 | debian-12.0-x86_64* |
| RHEL | RHEL 7 | centos-7-x86_64 |
| Ubuntu | Ubuntu 18.04 | ubuntu-18.04-x86_64 |
| Ubuntu | Ubuntu 20.04 | ubuntu-20.04-x86_64 |
| Ubuntu | Ubuntu 22.04 | ubuntu-22.04-x86_64 |
| Ubuntu | Ubuntu 24.04 | ubuntu-24.04-x86_64* |
Compatibility Notes
- Platform hardware servers must support the x86-64 v2 CPU instruction set or a newer version.
ubuntu-24.04-x86_64is supported from platform version 8.11.2, using kernel3.10.0-1160.119.1.vz7.224.4and Virtuozzo Server 7.5 Update 7.debian-12.0-x86_64is supported from platform version 8.4.1, using kernel3.10.0-1160.90.1.vz7.200.7and Virtuozzo Server 7.5 Update 5 Hotfix 1.almalinux-8-x86_64is supported from platform version 8.2.4, using kernel3.10.0-1160.80.1.vz7.191.4.almalinux-9-x86_64is supported from platform version 8.3.1, using kernel3.10.0-1160.80.1.vz7.191.4.
Other distributions: Contact the platform provider to discuss support when a different operating-system base is required.
Supported Architectures
At present, only the amd64 image architecture is supported for custom container deployment and container redeployment.
Before deployment: Verify both the operating-system base and the image architecture. An image that does not meet these requirements may fail to deploy or may not be handled correctly by the platform.
